approach our asana pratice and have fun doing it!
Our teacher, BKS Iyengar, incorporated props into yoga practice in order to make the poses more accessible, to deepen our understanding of the poses, and to enrich our experience in the poses.”

This class will explore yoga from a man’s perspective. This approach will range from working on poses that exploit men’s upper body strength to using poses to increase flexibility in the pelvis and hips and promote a healthy prostate. Yoga methods of reducing stress and inducing relaxation will also be included.

Open Yoga Practice (NOT A CLASS)
Is not supervised by an instructor.
A good practice accelerates your learning in yoga: it consolidates what you experience in asana class, gives insight into how you work in a pose, and invites reflection on how a pose works on you. Open practice is an opportunity to use the wide variety of Iyengar Yoga props in Studio A. You may also benefit from the encouragement, ideas and assistance of other students. It will help you build
the motivation to go to your mat – and give you the confidence to stay there – so that you experience the transformative effects of yoga beyond asana class.

Prenatal Yoga & Women’s Health

Yoga has well-defined sequences that can help you retain and gain bone strength. In this class you will experience a carefully crafted combination of poses that are weight-bearing, and well supported to focus on help to strengthen your bones, increase bone density, and develop a strong skeleton.
