Many of us have experienced tension and pain in our necks and shoulders. You may have been drawn to yoga as a way to increase flexibility and release tightness in those areas.
Although yoga can teach us how to use our bodies so that we can function with ease, it is essential to understand the body part that is in pain.
In this workshop, we will use Iyengar yoga poses to understand the neck and shoulders. We will look at postural patterns, and how each yoga pose is about shape, breath and dynamic movement.
