Joanne Kunz started taking yoga classes in 2008. She tried several different yoga styles and became immediately intrigued after her first Iyengar class. Despite years of running marathons and competing in triathlons, she learned there were still many muscles in her body she was never engaging. After receiving her 200 hour RYT in 2014 from Simply Yoga in Kingston, Joanne continues to take weekend workshops with senior instructors and weekly classes at Studio Yoga. Always inspired by her teachers knowledge and deep understanding of the practice, she enrolled in the teacher training program at Studio Yoga, and is currently assisting Theresa Rowland in the back care clinic.
