Every three years, the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States (IYNAUS) holds its premier event, the National Convention. Thousands of Iyengar Yoga students and teachers from all over the world come together to learn and share the practices of Iyengar Yoga. This year the keynote speaker and teacher will be Abhijata Iyengar, the granddaughter of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar.

Given her wealth of knowledge and experience, learned directly from Sri B.K.S. Iyengar, this is an event not to be missed! Not going? Not to worry!

Ellen will highlight Abhijata’s pearls of wisdom in this two hour asana workshop. Come and get a taste of what it’s like to learn from an Iyengar family member. Another event not to be missed, and closer to home too! Open to practitioners with at least two years of experience.

Ellen is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) at the Intermediate Junior I level. Since 1999, Theresa Rowland, Founder of Studio Yoga Madison, continues to be Ellen’s primary mentor and where Ellen completed her 500 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training.
